I started off with a cube for the base of the sofa the size was X=20m Y=80m Z=200m. I then used a Hyper NURB on the cube.

I then added another cube with the axis at X=65m Y=10m Z=98m and I then went into the Front View so that it was level with the base of the the sofa. Then after HyperNurbing it I repeated the same process as before to get a seem in the cushion and then use symmetry to get it on the opposite side. At first there was a gap in the middle so I went to right view and scaled it so there was no gap and because there was the symmetry I only had to scaled on side and the other side was already done.
Another cube was added and moved towards the back of the sofa and the size is X=10m Y=60m Z=100m to have a better view of modelling it and changed the view to the front view and then so that the sofa has a decline I rotated it -8 on the B axis. I then used the Rectangle Selection so that the bottom of the cube wasn't inside the base cushions and then shortened the top of the cube as well. Again I repeat the process of HyperNurbing the cushion and putting in a seam and then adding the symmetry.
At first the back wasn't including I added that in after I completed the cushions. I did this by going into Front View and Knifing where there was a gap. I then selected Live Selection and Face Mode went to the face where it had been knifed. When it was highlighted I then Extruded it up to where it met with the back cushion. I then used the rectangle selection again and just selected the corner of the back with overlapped with the back cushion and instead of shortening it on the Y axis I moved it on the X axis so it had a decline like the cushions.
I selected a Rectangle Spline and the height is 14cm and width is 70cm. Then I went to Structure>Edit Spline>Create Outline and it gives the rectangle spline an outline. Then I added an Extrude NURB and put the rectangle spline into the nurb. Change the movement to 5cm so that it is thinner and then go to front view and select the knife tool and the cut half of it and the move it into the middle of the bottom of the arm of the chair and then use symmetry to get it exactly in the same spot on the other side.
This is what my sofa looked like when it was finished. I added a leather material to the sofa and then a wood material to the feet of the sofa. I also added a sky and a floor and a 3 point light stage.
